TBAVA members are leaders of volunteers from a variety of organizations in Thunder Bay. These teams do not reflect the diversity of the community; particularly Indigenous community members.

Leadership Thunder Bay will plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate a community engagement and recruitment event targeted at Indigenous individuals and groups.
Leadership Thunder Bay’s CAP team will:

• Engage organizations (represented by TBAVA members) regarding welcoming strategies for Indigenous individuals and groups.
• Provide information about volunteer opportunities to Indigenous individuals and groups.
• Recruit Indigenous people and groups to assist with volunteering opportunities.
